RADICLE EMERGENCY SHELTER

The Radicle Emergency Shelter is a SEED Competition winning design. It proposes a completely compostable emergency shelter for hard to reach disaster areas and environments. It answers the question: "What happens to our emergency shelters when they are no longer needed?" The shelter is grown from entirely biodegradable resources, returning to the Earth at the end of its life cycle. It is to be built in Yushanzhen, Xi’an, Shaanxi province, China at a date yet to be determined.
