Season of Performance was the third Sky season I was design lead on. From concept to ship, I worked with a (stunningly) talented team to create a story about an ambitious and ill-prepared troupe of theatrical spirits. With the introduction of a dynamic community theater complete with stage transformations and effects, this season emphasized player creativity and collaboration. In order to achieve this, I designed and programmed a feature which allowed players across clients to influence the state of the level in real-time.

My responsibilities this season included:

  • Design and development of the Season’s concept, gameplay, cinematics, interactions, and experience as lead designer

  • Design and development (C++) of new networked feature and tool which allows players to dynamically change the level state across clients

  • Design and develop the season’s level and stage, a swiss-army-knife of possibilities

  • Design and development of five quests which progress the season’s story and gameplay

  • Unite and lead a team of superheroes
